The anti-diabetic properties of the Fig Leaf
Fig leaves have been shown to lower blood sugar and triglyceride levels by increasing the sensitivity of insulin to glucose. Because of this, the diabetic needs less insulin when on a treatment of the fig leaf.
In addition to lowering blood-sugar, fig leaves are strong in antioxidants and reduces inflammation or swelling naturally. It’s anti-inflammatory properties helps aid in the healing of wounds typical in diabetes.

Just boil the Fig leaves in some freshly filtered water for about 15 minutes and drink as a tea, or simply use Fig Leaf extract.
