welcome everybody to a Rinko station nighttime walk
so this is a bubble and we wanted to show you what it was like in the night time and so I’m going to give you a walk through the whole orenco station area show you all of the different uh General kind of overview of what this particular area has to offer so this area has got some hotels that aren’t too far away but it also has different uh housing options so some people may want to live here on a short-term basis there’s some apartment complexes I’m going to show you those as we walk along and right now I’m actually going to start kind of over by the supermarket it’s got a nice kind of a yuckiest Supermarket with a lot of different uh options this is post holiday so a lot of the Christmas lights have come down but there is some few there’s a few going on out there so with that being said I’m going to show you this grocery store here as we come up on what’s called this New Seasons Market I’m gonna turn around real quick and just kind of give you a view of this neighborhood and at at night I think it’s important to see what a place looks like in the evening time real people kind of have a tendency to work here this is the area that has been dubbed silicon Forest because of Intel and a lot of the companies that have moved out here because they want to be close to Intel this is one of their large infrastructural research areas but there’s other companies out here as well such as Anki several others I’ve seen several it’s really built up over the years New Seasons Market
and when you look at the daytime video you’re going to get a slightly different View um but I want you to see the activity that’s happening here kind of the general safety feel of the place it feels very safe so you can see it’s not a huge Market but this is kind of like I don’t know the closest I could be quite New Seasons to is Whole Foods you know Whole Foods by Amazon
next to them is the kitchen caboodle when you look up on all these cool Apartments there’s actually people living in them
[Music] so there’s a quite a few um apartments for rent here and I’ve looked up Airbnb in this area there’s Airbnb available so you can get temporary rentals you basically have your options
this area is obviously very close to Intel very close to Nike there’s another Semiconductor Company not that far away there’s offices like there’s accountants and lawyers dental offices it’s just a wide array of businesses
I wasn’t here visiting during the covet time so I don’t know how active it was but these days I mean is it back to normal it’s probably pretty close
now a lot of these apartments in this area I’m going to pan to the left over here
I’ve seen them on short-term rentals so I know they exist and it’s a pretty cute little area actually now for the most part during the holidays there was a lot more Christmas lights but now things are changing and their people are kind of probably trying to get ready for spring but they’ve got a little more time left

[Music] s down there this restaurant right here is the Indian restaurant it’s very good very good curries we really like this place and then uh if you look here you’ve got Corner offices this is the area where I see airbnb’s a lot especially there’s some short-term rentals on the bottom I kind of call these the Mary Poppins little apartments I think they’re kind of cute obviously someone still got the Christmas tree up across the street here and so you can see the name of the Indian restaurant they have a really good veg menu so if you’re you don’t eat meat these guys can definitely help you out these restaurants are open right now they’re active that’s a Japanese place that’s open at night a lot of activity there it’s very small I think this is a nice thing to have close by our Providence Express Care just a little clinic of course there’s hospitals pretty much in every direction
if you want to spin a little more and a good steak definitely recommend their wrinkle Station Grill it’s very good [Music] place as we’re coming up here on the left
I’m going to butcher the French words but show you
houseless drawer [Music] see this is like a coffee place it’s got a lot of snacks they’re closing up for the night they’re pretty much open in the daytime Bishop’s barber shops kind of popular in this area don’t know anything about this Orthodontics place but I’ve gotten some haircuts one time I usually go to another place but they did okay
that’s Salon bar that’s not a bar bar that’s for women to get their nails done so it might get a little dark over here
