1. Describe your intended trip

Privacy first: Do not enter passport numbers, birth dates, addresses, bank details or document scans. Save is optional and uses storage on this device only; it is not encrypted cloud storage.

Visa requirements depend on citizenship, purpose, duration and individual circumstances. A tourist admission does not automatically authorize employment or remote work.

2. Check official entry information

Open the destination’s immigration or consular authority and check the requirements that apply to your passport and planned activities. The U.S. State Department page is intended primarily for U.S. citizens and does not replace the destination government’s rules.

3. Mark the research you have completed

These are research prompts, not a universal list of required documents. Mark an item only after checking the rules that apply to your circumstances.

Important: A fully checked list does not mean you qualify for a visa, are authorized to work, or will be admitted at the border. Only the relevant authorities can make those decisions.

4. Turn research into a practical travel plan
