Archive video note: This page retains ExploreTraveler’s Taiping night-safari film. The original post was published July 14, 2024; that date does not establish the date of the visit. The retained title refers to an overnight experience, but it should not be treated as evidence of a current overnight-stay package. Use the current venue information below to plan an evening visit.

For current orientation, Zoo Taiping’s official visitor page lists the Night Safari from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily, including Sundays and public holidays, and warns that hours may change. The address is Jalan Pekeliling, Taman Tasik Taiping, 34000 Taiping, Perak. This researched information was checked October 31, 2026 (Central Time); confirm your intended date and last admission directly with the venue.

Plan the evening around your group

The archive can introduce a destination, while the arrangements for your own evening need a separate check. Before committing to tickets or transport, write down the date, information source and answer to each question below. These are planning suggestions, rather than a report of a newly tested visit.

  • Session and tickets: Is the Night Safari operating on your date, what is the last entry, and which ticket category applies to each person? Check the current official ticket page instead of carrying forward prices from an old video description.
  • Moving around: Ask about the route you intend to use, rest points, steps or slopes, wheelchair availability and tram boarding. A general access statement does not answer every individual need.
  • Viewing and filming: Confirm which areas are open and the current camera, flash and lighting rules. Neither an archive film nor a Short guarantees that a particular animal will be visible on another night.
  • The journey home: Arrange the return journey before entry, including a meeting point and an alternative if your first transport option is unavailable. Allow time to leave within the venue’s current closing arrangements.

The zoo’s official visitor-information page describes maps, toilets, wheelchair services and trams. Use it to prepare specific questions; availability, suitability and an actual accessible journey have not been independently tested here.

Continue through the Taiping archive

Open the original Taiping film on YouTube if the retained player does not load. There is also a related Short from this archive. The Short is a separate selection, not a replacement for the original film or a current access assessment.

Continue with Taiping Zoo and Night Safari, Part 2 for the related archive. Organize the wider route with Malaysia travel resources and find suitable planning materials in the travel resource center. Confirm current venue details separately from historical footage.
