Travel Fairs Around The World
The San Diego International Travel Fair just closed. It was an informative and fun show. In the above picture you see four members of our team brainstorming with Samantha Brown from the Travel Channel. Samantha is host of Great Weekends, Passport to Europe, Passport to Latin America and Great Hotels on the Travel Channel. She also does several other shows on the Travel Channel. Our team was privileged to pick her brain and her lecture was extremely valuable. There was lots of information for the professional as well as the casual traveler.
Travel shows give you a chance to see what is coming in the next year. The airlines have promotions and many tourist companies are there world-wide. You also get the opportunity to connect with many leaders in the field of tourism. You will see many culture shows, native dances, and of course there are many lectures given by renowned speakers. All of the speakers are carefully chosen. No matter if you are looking for a new adventure, or if you travel for a living, the travel show is a good place to start.
The travel show is like having the whole world at your fingertips. For our team, the question is always.....where should we go next? Travel is an adventure and you want to plan your trip carefully. Our team spends many months planning our itineraries. For us, the goal is to see all we can see and then come home and share it with you. The Travel Fairs give us the opportunity to see many representatives from many different countries.
If you are wanting to explore the world, then start with a local travel show. Almost every city world-wide has a travel show. At the show you can see many destinations at once. Where are you dreaming of going? Where should you stay? How much will it cost? What should you do while there? These are some of the questions you may have. If so, the Travel Fair is a good place to start. Some shows are extremely large and those are amazing. But even the small shows are valuable.
The travel Fair also gives you a chance to ask questions. There is nothing any more valuable than being able to get all your questions answered ahead of time. Good research makes it possible for you to save money, plan wisely, and see more. When you are going on an adventure, you want to see and explore all that you can. You will see a lot of competition at the travel shows. It will give you the opportunity to check out companies, and to get the greatest bang for your buck.
No matter what type of traveler you are, it is wise to learn all you can before you go. It is the wise traveler who seeks out several different companies. Travel Fairs give you the chance to do your homework wherever you may be living. Our team has lived all over the world and the US. Wherever we are , we make a point to attend the local Travel events. Big or small, we always learn something, and have a good time while we do it.
Make this the year to get out of the house and start your research at your local Travel event. Then when your research is done, book your adventure with confidence. Make your preparations and we will see you in the sky!
